Do we ever need an excuse to eat pizza? Not really. But Pizza Month gives you one anyway, just in case! Since 1984, October has had its 31 glorious days dedicated to eating this beloved Italian cuisine. This year, we’re jumping on board. Every week we will have different pizza specials, bringing in new ingredients, and bringing back old classics! Get ready to love pizza like never before.

Pizza Month History

How did Pizza Month start? Thirty-five years ago in Indiana, pizza shop owner Gerry Durnell published the magazine Pizza Today and declared October to be the month of pizza. Why not, right? Nobody is complaining ! Let us celebrate our favourite hot, gooey carbs.

In order to properly honour this pizza this October, we will be releasing exclusive weekly pizzas! New ingredients to discover, old combinations that were missed… If you needed a reason to buy pizza every week this month, here it is!

Week 1 – Primavera

For the first week of October we have prepared a beautiful vegetable garden of a pizza to celebrate the coming of Primavera – Spring! The 1st of October also falls on World Vegetarian Day, no better way to appreciate the earth’s bounty than with this veggie packed pizza. Enjoy our classic marinara sauce with a medley of mushrooms, eggplant, semi dried tomatoes, capsicum, and a sprinkle of mozzarella.
