We Cater For Everyone – Italian Style – Made in Italy
Cheese Lover’s Day
There are so many things we love that don’t get celebrated enough, so we’re making sure they get the recognition they deserve. On Monday January 20th we want to honour cheese and all its lovers! Cheese Lover’s day is a “gouda” opportunity for you to indulge in all the cheeses you think are “grate”!
The History Of Cheese
The earliest record of cheese making dates back to 5,500 BC in the land that we now know as Poland. But cheese has spread all over the world, Italy being the country with the highest variety of cheeses! How does 2,500 traditional Italian varieties of cheese sound? Whilst nobody quite knows how the art of cheese making was discovered, today there is a very straightforward process.
Milk is left to sour, then the curds (solids) are separated from the whey (liquid). The curds are later salted and left to age.
At Made in Italy we use our homeland’s favourite cheeses: Parmigiano Reggiano, Buffalo mozzarella, Gorgonzola, and two kinds of Mozzarella. They are used to perfection in our dishes, like the Margherita Pizza, Gorgonzola Pasta & Cheesy garlic bread. Drooling yet? Come on in and enjoy our Cheese Lover’s Day extra gooey promotions!
As always grazie for reading and Buon Appetito 🥰😋
